One week ago, Anderson Fire Protection had the privilege of being a sponsor in the American Fire Sprinkler Association (AFSA) Golf Benefit Tournament. This event was able to provide assistance to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Sander Cohen Foundation, and we’re glad to have contributed to the cause. There were many organizations that came together for this event, and we’re grateful to all of them for their devotion and contributions.
About the Event
The AFSA Golf Benefit Tournament took place on Thursday, September 12, and everyone started arriving at 8am. To start the day, everyone was welcomed with coffee and donuts while registration for the tournament was taking place. The event itself began at 9am, and golfing would continue until 2pm.
Participants in the tournament were able to make donations for the event, and there were four sponsorship levels from which to choose.
At 2pm, lunch was provided, and there were awards and prizes being given away, along with a Happy Hour cash bar. It was a great way to enjoy good food and beverages while building community with people who share a love for the fire protection industry.
