Anderson Fire Protection just finished its AFP Family Picnic, and it was a wonderful experience! The picnic took place last Saturday on September 16, 2023, and there were all sorts of fun activities that everyone could enjoy! Kids and adults alike came together for a day of good food, good laughs, and good times all around, and there was something to do for everyone.
For the children, there were firefighter-themed bouncy houses where they would be able to play. These bouncy houses were lent to us by Astro Jump of Baltimore. There was also food that was catered to us by 3 Phat Guys Catering. They provided a wide assortment of foods, such as ham, pit beef, mac and cheese, and more. Ice cream from Miss Twist Ice Cream was provided for the picnic as dessert.
The adults were able to enjoy tossing footballs and playing cornhole with each other, while kids could get their faces painted. It was truly a wholesome experience as families came together.
We want to thank everyone who came out to join us for our family picnic! We enjoyed everyone’s company, and we hope to hold more events like this in the future. When that time comes, we hope to see you there!
